We would sell this property for $515,000, but we do not want to lease-to-sell. Five years from now that may sound pretty cheap, especially with inflation going crazy and the dollar losing value every day.
First of all, I am not a real estate hustler. I'm not even in the real estate business. My wife and I lived on this property for over 35 years. At our age we were not able to keep it up the way we would have liked to, so we bought a house on a lot. If you are looking for cheap housing out in the country with several acres and extra buildings thrown in the deal, you probably are not going to find it. Not in this area, anyway. Crosby can only expand in one direction that is not in the flood plain, and this is it.
The manufactured housing (formerly known as a mobile home) has been leased, and I am temporarily using the shop myself. However, another unit of manufactured housing or a camper trailer could be hooked up. You would have to supply the unit to be hooked up.

This ranchette would be best suited for someone who wants to keep horses. If you want to do some brush clearing, clean-up, and repair to buildings and fences, then we can probably work out a price for a lease. You will need access to the proper equipment--at least a HEAVY-DUTY TRACTOR with implements.
Of course I could hire a contractor to do all these things and give someone a turn-key lease deal, but the cost would be high.
